Private Instruction:

These sessions are custom designed around the basic skills and techniques that you wish to develop including camera gear basics, exposure, composition, depth of field, metering, focal lengths, experimenting with shutter speeds, wide-angle, macro techniques and many more!  Since the ideal classroom for nature photographers is outdoors, all instruction takes place in the field allowing you to apply the techniques as you learn.  Both digital and film SLR shooters are welcome.

Sessions are available on Saturday or Sunday and usually take place in early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of premium lighting conditions but can last all day if preferred.  Locations are chosen based on length of session, photographic goals, peak subject conditions for the time of year and weather conditions.

Private Instruction Rates:
 $25/hour  (3 hr minimum)
 $275 Max Daily Rate

Contact Linda to schedule a session.

Photo Tours:

Tours are a great way to find the best locations rich in photographic opportunities and Linda will make every effort to take you to the right place at the right time for peak shooting conditions.  In the field, she provides hands on instruction to strengthen your skills and help you create powerful images.

These tours are limited to small groups to insure individual attention for each participant and minimize our impact on the environment.  Participants are responsible for their own food and transportation and carpooling is encouraged.  Be prepared for changing weather conditions by bringing proper rain gear for you and your camera gear.  Also, some hiking on uneven terrain may be required so wear sturdy footwear.  Most tours are from dawn until dusk unless otherwise noted.
